Reclaimed Wood Functional Art Series
We didn't start the fire...
On March 30, 2014, Tao LaBossiere's childhood home, originally built in 1730, where he and his wife Amy launched Still Waters Retreat Center, caught fire and burned. The business they started was stopped in its tracks, and the art couple began the long journey of rebuild and restoration. As the main house was deconstructed, we discovered very old gorgeous wood, and Tao got a vision to create these amazing tables. He started building them in between mural projects and other commissions.
You can purchase one of these gorgeous tables starting at $1800 plus CT sales tax. Every table and bench purchased helps fund continuous restoration and improvement of Still Waters Pond. Like a phoenix, rising from the ashes, the retreat is now back to life in a new mode of beauty and rustic artistry. Please join us on the journey in whatever way you are called to. We thank you for your support.
